For a young adult/teen Meg Cabot’s young adult books. She is the best author. Also best selling. She wrote tons of books including the Princess Diaries (Movies based on her books), Mediator (upcoming movie), 1-800-Missing (TV show based on her books), All-American Girl (up coming movie), Jinx, Airhead and more. She has adult books too, so you can grow with her.
If you want more info or any of the authors website’s email me.
You should use the website, What Should I read Next. This website will make perfect suggestions based on what you have read.

I’m a big reader and here are some of the books that I’ve read that I loved.
Evermore-kind of like the twilight series.
The Hunger Games- i don’t know if your into sci-fi but even if your not I would recommend this book. I couldn’t put it down!
The Host-another book my stephanie meyer.(I liked it better then the twilight series and that’s saying something for me!)
Tantalize-a little darker than twilight but around the same
Hawksong- so good! the rest of the series wasn’t to my taste but this first book is amazing!
Those are just some of my suggestion. Hope you enjoy!

I am also 12, and I really enjoyed reading the Chronicles of Narnia. There are seven books in that series, so it will keep you pretty busy!
